Anatomic Dirtmax is MTB series being held the first weekend of every month at Stonehenge in Africa, Parys. |
|
The first Anatomic DirtMax MTB race was held on 7 March 2009 with 28 riders, in a lap formation – 10km (1 lap), 30km (3 laps), 60km (6 laps). In January 2010 the river was in flood so the island could not be reached, then the hard work started again. New interesting and challenging tracks were laid out and today it is becoming bigger and more popular with every race held. |

PARTICIPANTS SAY… |
Quite a nice race . Bit of everything . It's not to technical , but there is one rocky climb when you do the 60 km that is a challenge. Awesome single track after the climb. Very good ride that I think you'll enjoy." – Jan, Potchefstroom

The rocky climb in the Reserve is a big challenge, you have to be on top of your game in terms off fitness and technical skills to ride it out the whole way. The last 5 km on the island becomes a real slip and slide if it rains. The route has a nice mix of jeep track, gravel road, some single track and a small amount of tar. Very enjoyable and big participation every month. Parys is always a nice day out for the whole family!" – Stefan |

Route was good and well marked. The organisers are actually paying attention to what the riders say and making changes accordingly. I will be there for the 2nd time this year." – Champion Hubber |
